Going abroad

Steve and I often talk about moving abroad. I think it can serve many purposes. Learning a new language, eating new food, eating good food, relaxing, being challenged, thinking outside of the box, building our life story, discovering new places, getting a sense of how we fit into the world.

Some options we have, include:
- A masters degree abroad. Maybe in environmental science.
- Peace Corps
- Open ended travel with stops along the way to live and relax, take language classes, learn new things.
- Moving to a country with a job in mind.
- Biking across the United States. I'm positive that there are completely different cultures within the confines of North America.
- Fulbright grants.

  1. Riding across the country! Yes! My friend Phil and I have been talking about doing this for years now...2010 could be the year!
